The Trial

This was probably the most emotional day of my entire life. I was crying, and crying because I was scared of what Tom Robinson’s lawyer, Atticus Finch was gunna say to me to. He was trying to make me say that Tom Robinson didn’t take advantage of me, which he did. Mr. Finch got me so angry because he was so rude, asking me if my papa hit me or by calling me mam and asking if I have any friends, what are those anyway. He made me want to leave the stand and walk over  scream at him at the top of my lungs but I hope my eyes did that for every look Atticus Finch gave me, I intensionally scowled at him in disgust.

Atticus was so rude I tyols hime that i ain't answering any more of his questions and i didn't. I was so upset I wish I could go and see a movie in the theaters but our family ain't got the money for that. I see the billboard for the movie " A Night at the Opera" (1935).  Here is a link to this new movie, cuz this movie is very popular in the 1935, and unfortualey I don't have enough money to go and see it because we are rationing due to the Great Depression. http://www.marx-brothers.org/watching/film/A_Night_at_the_Opera.htm even with the greatr depression. I wish we had the money, I wish I had the time, cuz this trial has been eating all of my time up. Anyway, the verdict says Mr. Robinson is guilty, but there's going to be a mistrial which is going to waste even more of my time. Thank you for all of your support, and write back and let me know what you think about mean lawyers and how they should have a cell right beside the Tom Robinson's of the world.
